Peregrine falcons Hondo and Deborah have reclaimed their spot in a nesting box atop Gruenhngen Conference Center at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
The two adult peregrines adopted Gruenhagen as their home in January of 2011 and eventually hatched two young peregrines – Titan and Millenium – last May.
A webcam has again been set up this spring to keep tabs on Hondo and Deborah. One egg has already been laid.
Last year, a peregrine specialist who came to UW Oshkosh to band the young peregrines said it was quite possible Hondo and Deborah would make the nesting box on campus a permanent nesting site.
