Stan Sweeney, assistant director for student leadership and involvement, and Chelsea Redger, Reeve Union Board program adviser, represented the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh by presenting educational sessions at the 2009 National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) National Convention Feb. 14-17 in Nashville, Tenn.
Sweeney’s educational session focused on what it takes to become a student affairs professional and how to choose the right graduate school. Redger’s presentation discussed how video and social networking sites can be best used for promotion and advertising.
The four-day networking opportunity for professionals and students attracted more than 2,000 delegates from nearly 450 member schools. It is the nation’s largest campus activities marketplace.
