Designer John Rieben will have an exhibition of his work featured at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Priebe Gallery throughout the month of March.

Rieben is an internationally known designer and Wisconsin native. An emeritus professor from UW Madison, Rieben’s work spans five decades. During that time his list of clients has included How Communications, Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, UNIMARK International and Dow Chemical to name a few.

Rieben’s exhibition, Design with Intent, will be held at the Allen Priebe Gallery in the Arts & Communication Building from March 1 to March 27, 2012.  An artist lecture will be held on March 1 from 4:50-5:50 p.m. in room S149 in the Arts & Communication Building with a reception to follow in the Priebe from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The Priebe Gallery is located in the Arts and Communication Building and is open daily. Each school year the gallery hosts six exhibits, giving the University community and the public a chance to meet visiting artists and view a variety of art exhibitions.  To learn more, visit the Allen Priebe Gallery website.
