In January, UW Oshkosh pianist Eli Kalman joined internationally renowned cellist Amit Peled, of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, in recitals at the Phillips Collection Concert Series in Washington, D.C., and at the Cello Festival at University of Connecticut in Hartford.

Both performances were a part of the Ernest Bloch Project, which also includes the release of their duo’s commercial recording “The Jewish Soul” with Centaur Labels and a concert tour in the San Francisco area in March.
