Who would have thought artistically tailoring a life-sized, fiberglass nutcracker for the UW Oshkosh Alumni would have  kept Stacey Cluppert, ’10, so busy.

Not only did Cluppert’s contribution to a community art project — the Oshkosh’s “Nutcrackers on the Town” campaign — require weeks of work at her Markesan home, but the public interest in it led her to bring the project to her Oakfield elementary school art classrooms. A teacher, Cluppert found a way to get her students involved in the artistry.

On Nov. 30, Cluppert joined guests at Pollock Alumni House to explain the work she did to produce the UW Oshkosh-themed “Titan Tools” nutracker — of 50 sponsored by and stationed at community agencies and businesses throughout Oshkosh.

The video that follows captures her brief discussion on Nov. 30, and the subsequent video chronicles the project a an earlier stage, as explained by the alumna-artist-teacher who shared her talent.
