University of Wisconsin Oshkosh graduate Heather Wade, of New London, and former Reeve Union board president, has been awarded the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) National Gold Key Award.
PRSSA is a pre-professional society based out of New York City that has more than 10,000 members and 200 chapters across the nation.
The Gold Key Award is the highest individual honor a member can receive. Only a select few students receive this award each year. The award recognizes those students who demonstrate outstanding academic excellence in public relations and leadership qualities in PRSSA.
Wade served as PRSSA president and in a variety of Reeve Union Board leadership positions, including vice president of public relations and president.
Wade will formally receive the award at the PRSSA national conference in October.
Kate Unger, Reeve Union, submitted this announcement. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
