The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will collect non-perishable food for the Salvation Army Oct. 8-15. Drop-off boxes will be located in Reeve Memorial Union, 748 Algoma Blvd., between Copy This!! and Titan Central.

The Salvation Army has been aiding families since 1865 by helping with disaster relief, providing substance abuse counseling and reuniting loved ones. Each year local people are troubled by unexpected hardships such as the flood that occurred this summer and the downturn in the economy.  More than 32 million people worldwide are aided by the Salvation Army annually.
