The University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Titan Thunder Marching Band is preparing to march in the Appleton and downtown Oshkosh holiday parades following an indoor concert this weekend on the UW-Oshkosh campus.

• Sunday, Nov. 23, TTMB will offer an opportunity to see the band up close with its The Sound of Thunder indoor concert at 1 p.m. at Kolf Sports Center. Winds, drumline, color guard, twirlers and drum major will be performing highlights from the season including selections from halftime shows, UW-Oshkosh school songs and other student favorites.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students (K-12 and non-UWO)

UWO students and children 5 and under are free.

Tickets and TTMB merchandise will be sold at the door (cash only)

“Coming to parades and the Sound of Thunder concert can immerse you into your community, giving you a fun break in your day to interact with friends and family, not having to worry about school while listening to some of your favorite songs,” said Alicia Downey a junior biology major who plays alto sax with the band.

֩   • Tuesday, Nov. 25, TTMB will be part of the Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 7 p.m. on College Avenue and will be broadcast live on WFRV.

• Thursday, Dec. 4, TTMB will be featured in the Downtown Oshkosh Holiday Parade on North Main Street, from 6:15 to 8 p.m.
