’69, ’74 David Misterek (MST), of Oshkosh, received the 2025 County Contact of the Year Award from the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin (BRAW) for his field work and public presentations in Winnebago County. Misterek is a retired Department of Natura Resources employee.

’82 Brian Haebig, of Holly Springs, North Carolina, retired as a Colonel after serving for 40 years with the U.S. Department of War.

’84 Joye Moon, of Oshkosh, was commissioned by the Winnebago County Historical Society (WCHS) to paint a scene from Oshkosh’s past. Moon presented her painting Sailing Around Garlic Island to the WCHS in October.

’90 Kim (Rhyner) Quinnell, of Stanley, a kindergarten teacher at Gilman Elementary School in the Gilman School District, will transition into the role of reading interventionalist. Quinnell is in her 36th year of teaching kindergarten.

’91 Carrie Voigt Schonhoff, of Reeseville, released her third poetry collection entitled Shadow Work, an exploration of healing, resilience, and the inner landscapes that shape the human experience. Voight Schonhoff is the founder of Liminal Artistry, a platform dedicated to fostering connection and collaboration among writers and artists.

’96 Amy Heutmaker, of Novelty, Ohio, is a licensed professional counselor at MetroHealth in Cleveland and runs her own private practice. Heutmaker was elected trustee of Russell Township in November. She and her wife Erin were married in February.

’97, ’04 Lisa (Weiss) Duxbury (MSE), of Omro, is the statewide early learning coordinator for CESA 6. In her spare time, Duxbury is an author, recently publishing the book Uplift: Energizing Educators’ Passion & Purpose.

’99 Karla Potts-Shufelt, of Cameron, is the director of Barron County Health and Human Services. Potts-Shufelt has previously been serving as a nurse manager in the county’s Public Health Department.

’04 Mary Burich (MBA), of De Pere, Schneider National’s vice president of human resources, is receiving the 2025 Women in Supply Chain Award, presented by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, for her accomplishments in building Schnieder’s talent pipeline and driving workforce development.

’04 Elizabeth Streubel (MSE), of Thiensville, was named the 2026 Wisconsin Elementary Associate Principal of the Year by the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators. Streubel is an assistant principal at Wilson Elementary in the Mequon-Thiensville School District and is known for her compassionate leadership, student-centered decision making, and dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and joyful school community.

’05 Adam Turriff, of De Pere, earned his residential real estate divorce specialist certification through the Residential Real Estate Council. Turriff, a realtor and broker-owner with Resource One Realty, LLC, has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He is married to ’06 Alissa (Pasterski) Turriff.

’07 Kyle Galloway, of Greenville, is the vice president of software engineering with SECURA Insurance’s IT division.

’08, ’13 Carol Veltus (MSN), of Kaukauna, is a nurse practitioner.

’09 Josh Webb, of Oshkosh, is the branch manager at Premier Community Bank in Tigerton. Webb has over 20 years of banking experience.

’11 Michael Darr, of Birnamwood, is a nurse practitioner at Aspirus Elcho Clinic. Previously, Darr worked as an internal medicine nurse practitioner in Wausau.

’15 Elijah Blair, of Schofield, is a physician assistant at Marshfield Medical Center Minocqua.

’15, ’24 Katherine Thompson (DNP), of Sherwood, is a nurse practitioner with ThedaCare Urology.

’18, Carly Hirsch, of Oshkosh, is the executive director of Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services. Hirsch was previously the assistant director and was instrumental in the recent capital campaign to move to a larger facility.

’18 Renee Smith (MBA), of Wausau, is a family medical doctor with Aspirus Medford Clinic. Smith will care for patients of all ages with a special interest in preventative care, wellness and health promotion.

’20 Brittany (Corwin) Baltadano, of Fond du Lac, is a medical assistant in the student health center at UW-Oshkosh. Baltadano is married to ’21 Andy Baltadano.

’21 Richard Ferrari Traner (MPA), of Milwaukee, is the director of the Kenosha County Division of Public Health and the county’s health officer. Ferrari Traner previously worked for the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families where he was manager of Prevention and Early Intervention Section.

’25 Daniel Spoelstra, of Amherst, is a utility locator for the US Infrastructure Company. Spoelstra’s wife, ’25 Lauren Sinclair, started a 4-year program in audiology.
