’63 Norm DeBriyn (EHS), of Fayetteville, Arkansas, became the second Titan to be selected to enter the College Baseball Hall of Fame. DeBriyn was the head baseball coach at the University of Arkansas from 1970-2002, transforming the team into a national powerhouse after taking over as the head coach at the age of 28. He remains the winningest coach in school history with a .641 winning percentage, two Southwest Conference (SWC) titles, one Southeastern Conference (SEC) title, one SEC Western Division title, 15 NCAA Division I Championship appearances, and four NCAA College World Series appearances.
’67 Daniel Kozie (LS), of Bainbridge Island, Washington, retired from his medical career in 2015. He loves to hike, kayak, bike and travel internationally.

’70 Michael Tomczyk (LS), of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, published his third book in November. Neo-Innovation: Ideas, Insights and Tools to Compete in a New Era is an innovation handbook presenting new approaches needed to manage companies and market products in the post-pandemic “NeoWorld.”
’73 Carl Wegner (B) and ’73 Marlene (Lechner) Wegner (B), of West Bend, celebrated 50 years of marriage in May. The Wegners met in their accounting class at the end of their junior years at UWO. Both went on to have careers in accounting. They have four children and six grandchildren.
’81 Cheryl Walker (EHS), of Milwaukee, became a board trustee for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Walker is a retired special education teacher who had a 33-year career at Grafton High School, six additional years as a disability specialist at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), and is currently a community volunteer.
’85 Todd Ziegler (LS), of Appleton, is the station manager of Sinclair’s WLUK (Fox) and WCWF (CW) in Green Bay. Ziegler has been with the station since 2015, leading the sales and marketing team.
’89 Gary Ryan (B), Of Oakfield, is the chief credit officer for National Exchange Bank & Trust in Fond du Lac. Having spent his entire 35-year career with the Bank, Ryan served as senior credit officer since 2019.

’92 Cindy (Allen) Ladd (EHS) and ’99 (MSE), of Sauk City, is retiring from her job as a middle school special education teacher in the Sauk Prairie School District. In her retirement, she plans to travel and spend more time with friends and family.
’93 Dennis Schroeder (LS), of South Pasadena, California, received the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the California Community Colleges Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA). In 2024, Schroeder received the Meritorious Service Award from the California Association of Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA) for his 20 years of service as a member and co-chair of the CASFAA High School Relations committee. Schroeder is the financial aid director at Los Angeles Mission College.
’98 Lisa (Weinshrott) Kimmel (LS), of Kissimmee, Florida, is the owner of Sharp Edge Lighting Design. Kimmel is a lighting design and stage manager, working on theatrical shows, dance, and corporate events across the country including Walt Disney World. Kimmel mentors people in the theatrical arts, giving them the building blocks to be successful in the entertainment world including the Olympics, Broadway, and Pixar.
’99 David Tiefenthaler (LS), of Hartford, has set a goal of catching 1,000 species of fish and making an educational video around each experience. Tiefenthaler is a seventh grade teacher at Slinger Middle School.
’00 Bonnie Nickasch (N), ’06 (MSN), ’14 (DNP), of Appleton, is the director of the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner program (PMHNP) at UW-Oshkosh. Nickasch and her husband ’92 Greg Nickasch (B) celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
’08 Andrea Pannier (EHS), of Oshkosh, is the 14th director of the Plymouth Municipal Band where she has played clarinet since high school. Pannier teaches music at a private school in Fond du Lac.
’08 Timothy Scottberg (EHS), ’13 (MS), of Oshkosh, is the associate director for the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools, a statewide program with CESA 9. Scottberg was previously the principal at Fond du Lac STEM Academy and an associate principal at Fond du Lac High School.

’08 Kayla (Chilsen) Williams (LS), of Cecil, received the July Wisconsin Broadcasters’ Association Young Professional of the Month Award, recognizing young broadcasters who have made a significant impact on their stations and communities. Williams is an account executive with Results Broadcasting.
’20 Kelli Calkins (LS), of Wauwatosa, is the social media director at Meyocks, a leading branding and marketing agency. Calkins was formerly an associate social media director at Charleston Orwig where she led multiplatform campaigns for clients on Meta, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, X, Reddit and Snapchat.
’20 Joshua Labbe (LS), of Clinton Township, Michigan, graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is now undergoing neurology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Labbe is married to ’18 Kayla Bringman (AS) and ’20 (LS).
