The UW Oshkosh Department of Social Work will be hosting two Master of Social Work (MSW) program open houses over the next several weeks, for anyone who wishes to continue their education.

Open houses are planned from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28; and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, both in Swart Hall, Room 102.

The open house provides an opportunity to learn about the unique opportunities the UWO MSW program offers.

The UWO MSW program is open to any individual whether they have a BSW degree or a bachelor’s degree in another discipline.

Faculty members will be present to cover all aspects of the MSW program, the application process and to answer any questions.

Visitor parking will be available in Lot 3 adjacent to Swart Hall on Algoma Boulevard. While in-person attendance is encouraged, there will be an option to join the Open Houses virtually. More information is available by contacting Jim Power, powerj@uwosh.edu, associate professor of social work and MSW program coordinator, for the virtual links or for general information about the open houses.
