WHBY’s Focus Fox Valley host Hayley Tenpas will moderate a panel discussion about the impact federal mandates for widespread use of electric vehicles will have on Wisconsin residents and businesses at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh on Sept. 13.
The Whitburn Wednesdays event, sponsored by UWO’s Whitburn Center for Governance and Policy Research, the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership and WiSPolitics, begins with check-in at 5 p.m., followed by the Is Wisconsin Plugged In to the EV Evolution? discussion from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A buffet will be served.
Panelists include Dan Krueger, executive vice president, WEC Energy Group; Michael Moore, vice president of engineering, Oshkosh Corp.; Joel Nilsestuen, assistant deputy secretary, Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and Benjamin Richardson, parking and transportation director, UWO.
Tenpas began her career in television before switching to talk radio in 2018. Focus Fox Valley centers on community conversations about emphasizing the people, organizations, causes and ideas that help the Fox Valley thrive.
