The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will welcome the start of its 152nd academic year with two events for faculty and staff on the Oshkosh campus.
2023-24 convocation is at 3 p.m. Aug. 31 in Reeve Memorial Union, Ballroom 227.
UW Oshkosh Chancellor Andrew Leavitt and Provost Ed Martini will discuss the University transformation plan announced earlier this month and its impact on employees and programs. After their remarks, a faculty and staff appreciation reception and social hour will be held, complete with complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres provided by the UWO Foundation.
Opening Day Honors and Awards is at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 5 in the Culver Family Welcome Center.
The annual event is a chance to celebrate the achievements of faculty and staff, including employee honors and awards and years-of-service milestones. A continental breakfast will be served beginning at 8 a.m.

- College of Nursing: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Clow S101
Fall classes begin Sept. 6. The semester concludes Dec. 15, and commencement is Dec. 16.
