NETWORKING NEAR AND FAR: UWO grads enjoy sharing their Titan pride across the nation. Throughout the spring semester, alumni got together to play bingo in Oshkosh, relax for a weekend in Wisconsin Dells and reminisce with classmates in Arizona and Florida.

 

TITANS TAKE THE CAPITOL: Chancellor Andy Leavitt led a group of UWO student leaders, alumni and University partners in April on a whirlwind trip to Madison to visit 20 Capitol offices. The delegation shared success stories that reflect the themes and priorities included in the UWO2030 Strategic Plan.

 

WHAT’S NEXT? Students finishing their studies on the Fond du Lac campus considered their options for the future at the Next Steps Celebration in April.

 

COMMENCING FORTH: Nearly 1,400 undergrad and graduate students were honored for their academic success at UWO commencement ceremonies in May. Members of the class of 1973 led the processional as part of their Golden Titan Reunion weekend.

 

FUN AT FOX: The final celebration of the spring semester for students at the Fox Cities campus included visits with Josie the therapy dog, games
and final exam survival kits.

 

BOOGIE DOWN: As part of Black History Month, students and faculty danced the night away in Reeve Memorial Union at the inaugural decades dance with a 1970s theme.

 

BLACK AND GOLD: Guests had a roaring good time in February at the 1920s-themed Black and Gold event, which raised money in support of scholarships for UWO students.

 

CAMPUS CLEANUP: Students showed up in full force for Earth Week in April to help spruce up the Oshkosh campus for spring.

 

ALTERNATIVE ADVENTURE: Nine UWO students spent spring break on a service trip to Honduras working with the Organization for Youth Empowerment, equipping young people to transform both their lives and their world.

 

BYE GOSH: Students took a joyful study break at the annual Bye Gosh Fest on the Oshkosh campus in May with performances by Aly and AJ, the Oshkosh band Mubus, food trucks, artists, games and more.
