University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Chancellor Richard Wells recognized three students who earned annual student employee honors during a ceremony on April 12.

This year’s winners include:

Student Employee of the Year, Kendra Roche

Employed at Washington Elementary in the Lighted School House (after school) program, Kendra was nominated by Stephanie Levine (Program Coordinator), Lisa Helmer (Project Director for both Washington & Webster Elementary Schools), and Lindsey Trepanier (AmeriCorps Staff member for the Lighted Schoolhouse Program)

Kendra is an education major and has worked for the Washington Elementary for 14 months as a classroom facilitator.

Student Employee of Distinction, Ryan Nettesheim

Employed by the Department of Residence Life, Ryan was nominated by his supervisor Abby Sylvia (Coordinator for Staff and Student Development).

Ryan is also an education major and has worked in his position for Residence Life as an Intern for 8 months.

Student Employee of Distinction, Lindsay Klug

Employed at Gruenhagen Conference Center, Lindsay was nominated by Norleen Luebke (Assistant Director of Gruenhagen Conference Center).

Lindsay is a student with a major in human resources and a minor in finance .  She has worked for Gruenhagen Conference Center for 30 months and has also worked as both a desk receptionist and an assistant desk manager for EAA.
