The Prairie Theatre on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Fond du Lac campus is going Technicolor with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s incredible story of Joseph, his envious brothers and one very colorful coat.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens Nov. 10, with eight performances planned through Nov. 20. The musical parable follows Joseph’s journey from callow youth in Canaan to the Pharaoh’s right-hand man in Egypt. Told all in song, the musical adventure will have audiences singing along and dancing in the aisles.
The production features students from the Fond du Lac campus, plus children and adults from the community, including Fond du Lac favorite Eva Thelen-Dunphy as The Narrator.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 24 and will be available to purchase 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. General admission tickets also will be available at the door beginning one hour before each performance (cash or check only).
