ONE ACT PLAY DESCRIPTIONS
One Last Night
After a party between theatre camp counselors comes to an end since the campers have left, two counselors who have a fling stay behind to clean up the mess. It’s the final night before the counselors will leave, and our two counselors debate whether they should continue their summer fling into something more serious or leave it all behind. This short play focuses on Love, what people will do to keep it, and what they’ll do to inadvertently destroy it.
Until Next Friday
The experiences of four childhood friends who, now adults, meet at a bar every Friday. With scenes between past and present, showcasing the groups’ dynamic with each other in the past at the bar, and the present, where three of the friends talk about the fourth friend, who took their own life. This one act play focuses on Life and Loss, how different people deal with death, and how blame is tossed around. [WARNING: This play features talks of Suicide, viewer discretion advised]
