UWO Student Health Center Accreditation
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Student Health Center is committed to the delivery of quality care. This commitment to quality and excellence is demonstrated by achieving accreditation of our health services. The Student Health Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Accreditation is a voluntary process through which an organization is able to measure the quality of its services and performance against nationally recognized standards.
Accreditation is a rigorous process which starts with self-assessment followed by a thorough review from an on-site evaluation that surveyors with experience in college health settings perform. UW Oshkosh Student Health Center has been continually accredited by AAAHC since 2004. Achieving and maintaining accreditation is widely known as a distinctive mark of quality care, which assures students that the facility meets expected standards of care.
