Peer Health Educators

PHEs are student employees trained to educate the campus on health issues, have supplies for minor health concerns, and serve as a resource/ referral for addressing health and wellness needs.  Additionally, PHEs design and implement fun, free events to support student wellness.  PHEs are bound to an oath of confidentiality, meaning that all health-related conversations students have with PHEs will not be shared with others, except in cases of sexual assault or situations that pose a risk to safety.

Being a PHE provides unmatched job experience for those seeking careers in a variety of fields such as health promotion, social work, nursing, public health, kinesiology, or education.
