Cashier’s Office

The UW Oshkosh Cashier’s Office is responsible for collecting, recording and depositing all of the University funds.

For non-contact payments, a payment drop box is available next to Cashier’s window.

After-hours payments may be made in the night depository box on the wall directly next to the Cashier’s Office window.

Student Services

  • Make tuition payments with cash or check

Departmental Services and Cash Handling

  • Cashier processes all departmental deposits.
  • Departments need to be familiar with the cash handling procedures for the University and have internal procedures which are found on the Forms page.
  • Annual Cash Handling Training is required for all employees and student employees who handle cash. Department supervisors can request a link to the Cash Handling Training via the MS Teams Bank Activity group. Questions can be directed to cashier@uwosh.edu.

Payment Options

— Online by E-check

Enter your own checking or savings account and routing numbers on TitanWeb under “Finances” then “Pay Bill.” There is a $0.50 convenience fee for using this service.

 

— Online by American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover

Credit card payments are not accepted in person or by telephone. Enter credit card information on TitanWeb under “Finances” then “Pay Bill.” A 2.85% convenience fee will be assessed on the payment amount for domestic credit card services by the credit card company. Beginning July 1, 2025, the convenience fee assessed on the payment amount for international credit card services will be 4.85%.

Enabling TLSv1.2 and TLSv1.1 in Internet Explorer:
In the Tools menu, which is displayed by clicking on the gear icon near the top-right corner of an Internet Explorer 9 and 10 window, select the “Internet options” menu item.  In the Internet Options window that appears, click on the Advanced tab at the top of the window. Scroll down to the end of the list and click in the square check boxes next to “Use TLS 1.1” and “Use TLS 1.2” if they don’t already have a check mark in them.

Creating an Authorized Payer Account

Students wishing to have someone else make payment on their account can create an authorize payer account with our secure third-party payment processor. Click here for instructions.

Find the UWO Cashier’s Office on the second floor of Dempsey Hall in the main hallway. After-hour payments are accepted through the depository box on the wall next to the cashier’s window.

Please write your student ID number on the check/money order made payable to UW Oshkosh.  Allow at least 1 week for mailed payments to be received.  Allow 2 weeks for bank Bill Pay payments to be received.  Allow at least 3 weeks for Edvest/College Plan payments to be received.

All payments must be RECEIVED by the due date.

Your bank statement is your receipt. If a cash register receipt is needed, include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.

Any check (paper or electronic) which is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) or closed account, will be subject to the appropriate fee and penalty obligations in effect. A $25 returned check charge, as allowed by Wisconsin Statute, will be assessed.
