Description
The strong winds of hurricanes get all the TV time when a storm hirs, but it's the storm surge that often causes the most damage and leads to the most deaths. Now meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center have developed a new warning system that informs people 36 to 48 hours in advance of a dangerous storm surge.
