The influence of German Expression Dance, or Ausdruckstanz, has spanned decades and spread to diverse areas globally. Works of each choreographer are highlighted through solos, narration and original photographs. Includes excerpts from "Witch Dance" and "Swinging Landscapes" by Mary Wigman (Germany); "Affectos Humanos" by Dore Hoyer (Germany); "Homage to Mahler" by Hanya Holm (Germany & U.S.); "Tribe" by Alwin Nikolais (U.S.); and "Figura" by Murray Louis ( U.S.).
