The Tate Modern is the most successful museum of modern art in the world if you judge this by the number of people that visited it. Since it opened its doors to the public 6 years ago more than 20 million people have come here to visit former power station turned power house for modern and contemporary art. In the first episode Tim looks around the sections concentrating Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism, dissecting great works by Dali, Pollock, Bacon and Magritte, among others.
