1941-Meet the Enemy
Description
In 1941, Stalin appeals to Russian nationalism to convince millions to take up arms against German invaders, among them a sniper named Lyudmila Pavlichenko who inspires others to fight and survive. In Canada a young woman named Veronica Foster becomes Ronnie the Bren Gun Girl and brings women into the workforce. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Allies have the mighty Americans on their side. But for now the Japanese people continue to believe Emperor Hirohito when he tells them Japan is invincible.
