At TEDxWomen, psychologist Laura Carstensen shows research that demonstrates that as people get older they become happier and more content and have a more positive outlook on the world. Carstensen is the director of the Stanford Center on Longevity and has extensively studied the effects of extended lifetimes on wellbeing.
