Women. Catholics in Britain
Description
This film takes us to Westminster Cathedral, Britain's largest Roman Catholic church, to meet the female staff, volunteers, and congregation. Set against the backdrop of cathedral life, they describe for us what it is like to be a Catholic woman in modern Britain today. The picture that emerges is one of Catholicism as an identity which, whether positive or corrosive, is always tenacious and very difficult to leave behind. Filmed with extraordinary access to the site and subjects featured.
