Eric Carr. Tale of the Fox
Description
This video documentary, directed by Jack Edward Sawyers, provides insight into the extraordinary life of Eric Carr, former drummer for Kiss. Caravello was selected as the new Kiss drummer after Peter Criss left in 1980, where he chose the stage name "Eric Carr" and took up the "Fox" persona. He remained a band member until his death of complications from heart cancer in November 1991, at age of 41. Caravello was an artist and went to the High School of Art and Design in New York City before beginning his musical career. This program includes extra footage, pictures, interviews, unreleased music written during his pre-Kiss and Kiss days, plus interviews with Bill Aucoin, Bruce Kulick, Carrie Stevens, members of Slaughter, Fred Coury, and more. Fans of hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal will enjoy the intimate portrait of an artist whose influence is still felt today. (92 minutes)
