Description

This Pilot Guides episode chronicles Justine Shapiro's week in Paris. She visits a traditional French café for a few glasses of vin rouge, attends a cookery class at the Ecole Cordon Bleu, joins over 3,000 roller-bladers in their weekly night-time skate, and admires Parisian architecture at the Arc de Triomphe, La Grande Arch de la Defence, L'Opera Bastille, and the Bibliotheque Nationale de France. Later, Justine attends one of Paris' most famous shows, the cabaret at the Lido and explores the cities shopping scene, from the food market to high end boutiques. She visits the Picasso Museum, sees the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, and meets a squatting drama group before heading to Disneyland Paris. Justine ends her trip at the Eiffel tower, the most iconic monument associated with the city.
