Description
The devastating impact of the 9/11 terror attacks gave the American public a new stock villain: the bearded, wild-eyed Middle Easterner intent on destroying the United States. "We have conservatives, liberals, and those who are somewhere in between," says a university student. "We are not all AK-47-holding terrorists.
