El Andaluz
Description
Andalusia is a Spanish autonomous community resplendent with cultural and architectural treasures, many of which evoke the nation's Islamic influence. In this program, Manuel Falces, one of Spain's top photographers, documents unforgettable images of Andalusia-and, in doing so, helps introduce the best ways to ask for directions and travel guidance in Spanish. Viewers encounter breathtaking images of the Alhambra, the eighth-century fortress of La Alcazaba, and Almeria's old fisherman's quarter, while learning about Manuel's personal goal of establishing a permanent, high-tech photo center or fototeca in the region.
