Description
This program shows viewers how to ask for and give directions. Also, the experiences of an Alsatian writer who lived through the Nazi occupation during World War II shed light on the tug-of-war between France and Germany for the province of Alsace, while an architect discusses the use, during the Middle Ages, of self-governing fortified towns to tame the French wilderness.
