In this program, host Ron Hazelton leads a fascinating tour across the country to examine prime examples of structures built by the homesteaders who propelled America's westward expansion. Starting with post-and-beam construction in the East and continuing on to the adobe homes of the Southwest, viewers will see how archetypal American houses were built and used.
