Sewing is my art. 2
Description
Sewing is a useful skill that is as handy in the home as it is profitable in the workplace. This video introduces students to the sewing machine, the key to high-volume stitching and a rewarding career in the clothing industry. First, the program names each part of the machine, from the thread take-up lever, to the bobbin winder spindle, to the presser foot lifter. Then, it demonstrates how to thread the machine and start sewing. Troubleshooting tips are also included, for times when the thread snaps, the needle breaks, or the stitches just don't look as good as they should.
