Description
Between natural phenomena and technology, the film introduces the work and aesthetic theories of Danish artist Olafur Eliasson as it documents one of his largest exhibitions ever, "Notion Motion", in Rotterdam. An excursus examines Hans Richter and his abstract film Rhythm 21. Since the early 1990s, Olafur Eliasson has built up an amazing oeuvre consisting of rainbows, sunsets, waterfalls, mist, and periscopes. His work navigates between natural phenomena and technology. Eliasson's work makes the spectator aware of his perception tangible.
