Description
Harry T. Moore, who was at the vanguard of the civil rights movement in Florida, and his wife Harriet were killed when their home was firebombed in 1951. Harry Moore became the first NAACP official to be assassinated during the civil rights era. In this program from Tony Brown's Journal, their daughter, Evangeline Moore tells a chilling story of her parents’ death and her struggle to memorialize their sacrifice and bring their killer(s) to justice.
