Matter is all around us. Everything on earth is made of matter. Learning about the different properties of matter will allow students to understand how environmental and human factors affect the changing world we live in. By viewing the video, students will enhance their knowledge about solids, liquids, and gases. The video presents general information about matter, matter's properties and states, and how matter changes. After viewing the video, students will be able to identify solids, liquids, and gases in the environment; explain how matter changes state; describe the processes of vaporization, evaporation, and condensation; calculate the volume and mass of various forms of matter, and list the properties of various forms of matter.
