In our last chapter lesson the curriculum focuses on the vocational advantages of embracing environmental education in schools and stewardship in communities. As Paul Krugman, the 2008 Nobel Prize winner for economics, has stated, “the fastest growing segment of our economy deals with energy alternatives and the restoration our ecosystems.” Van Jones states the coming green revolution will create millions of new jobs and help to promote our energy independence.
