No Land, No Food, No Life
Description
No Land, No Food, No Life is a hard-hitting film that explores sustainable small-scale agriculture and the urgent call for an end to corporate global land grabs. The director, Amy Miller, travels to Uganda, Mali, and Cambodia, talking to farmers and communities that have lost land that has been theirs for generations. With global grain stocks skyrocketing and land prices increasing, corporations and governments are eager to get their hands on arable soil and the profits that come with it. This film gives voice to those directly affected by combining personal stories and vérité footage of communities fighting to retain control of their land.
