Live from the Royal Albert Hall, Katie Derham introduces the final concert of the 2016Proms season as Finnish conductor Sakari Oramo leads the celebrations including composers such as Tom Harroldand Jonathan Dove and commences by showcasing the 45 talented young musicians of the BBC Proms Youth Ensemble. Star Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez sings a selection of popular arias by Gioachino Rossini and Jacques Offenbachin a program which also includes Polovtsian Dancesfrom the unfinished Prince Igorby Alexander Borodin, a Russian anthemperformed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the BBC Singers. In a unique collaboration, BBC Music's Get Playing campaign showcases a video compilation of online participants performing Bizet's Toreador Song conducted by Marin Alsop. The 75th Prom finishes with British composer Jonathan Dove's Our Revels Now Are Endedand is performed by British Australian baritone Duncan Rock and the BBC Symphony Orchestra led by Sakari Oramo.
