Description

Mark Epstein is a highly-regarded psychiatrist in private practice in New York City and the author of a number of books about the interface of Buddhism and psychotherapy. Arlene Shechet has received broad recognition for her corporeal and suggestive ceramic work; herwork is included in public and private collections worldwide. Kay M. Tye is Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT, Cambridge where she employs an interdisciplinary approach including optogenetics, electrophysiology, pharmacology and imaging techniques to find a mechanistic explanation for how emotional and motivational states can influence learning and behavior, in health and disease.
