The Last Supper
Description
This historical reenactment examines the Last Supper within the context of the traditional Jewish Passover Seder meal. The event is depicted from food preparation through the moment of Eucharistic offering, and comparisons are made with those dishes served at Seders today. The religious symbolism of the dishes is examined, especially as it relates to beliefs and rituals held sacred by two of the world's major religions.
