The principal illustrations: Tower Bridge, Richmond Park, Boadicea's Statue, London Wall, Roman Baths at Bath, Roman Theatre at St. Albans, Temple of Mithras, All Hallows by the Tower, The Pool of London, Model of a Viking Longboat, Bayeux Tapestry.
