CBT, cognitive behavioural therapy for adolescents with mood disorders
Description
This program describes a cognitive behavioural intervention specifically aimed at adolescents with depression. The first section summarises the theoretical underpinnings of treatment. Section two demonstrates, using case vignettes and role-play therapy situations, the programme of CBT that we have developed in Manchester. The final section discusses difficulties and problems in working in this treatment modality with adolescents and their families.
