Imagine. The year of Anish Kapoor. Season 16, Episode 1
Description
Immensely popular with the public as well as critics, sculptor Anish Kapoor rose to prominence in the 1980s and has exhibited throughout the world. But it is large-scale work that has made him a household name, with creations such as Marsyas for the Tate Modern, Cloud Gate for the Millennium Park Chicago and Sky Mirror for the Rockefeller Centre in New York. Alan Yentob meets Kapoor as he faces his biggest challenge yet - to be the first living British artist to have a solo show occupying the entire Royal Academy gallery. With exclusive access to his studio, this film follows Kapoor through this period of intense productivity.
