Scènes d'écran. Foudres

Description

Dave St-Pierre explores the vicissitudes of the human soul in Foudres, the third and final installment of socio-sentimental trilogy, Sociologies and other contemporary utopias. After La pornographie des ames (2004) and Un peu de tendresse bordel de merde! (2006), Foudres (2012) concludes a reflection on life, death and love. In short, the human being, studied from all angles. On stage, naked cupidons, their sex swinging, try to throw into each other's arms two poor souls stunned by the violence of a thunderbolt. Passion is here synonymous with contrary forces leaving room for a collective therapy: the emotions overflow in an indescribable joy. It's braying, it's hectic and it's exciting. Without taking himself seriously, Dave St-Pierre dissects the most visceral feelings: love. He says, "It will never be enough for me: never vulgar enough, chaotic, violent, virulent, animal, human, lost ".
