SPANISH LANGUAGE: The goal of this module is to help women who are living with heart disease recognize the critical importance of medication adherence for managing chronic disease and for optimizing healthy living. Medication adherence refers to taking medications prescribed by a health care provider in the right manner. Important aspects of medication adherence include taking medication: in the right amount (i.e., dose) at the right time (e.g., in the morning, before bed) the right way (e.g., with or without food, at a certain time of day, etc.).
