Creating breadbaskets
Description
We often think of wind as a destructive force, building into epic tempests such as hurricanes or tornadoes, or racing across the plains scouring the earth of topsoil. But without the sediment deposits the result from wind, world agriculture would be far less abundant. This video explains how loess deposits became the breadbaskets of the world.
