The rock cycle
Description
We tend to think of rocks as fixed ... frozen in time ... never-changing, but actually rocks are constantly changing. This process of change, which affects all rocks and rock material, is known as the Rock Cycle. This video looks at the relation between igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks, and explains where each fits in the rock cycle.
