Seafloor exploration
Description
In many ways, the seafloor is the "final frontier". In fact, we know more about the surface of the moon than we know about the seafloor, the largest part of Earth’s surface. Scientific exploration of the seafloor began in the late eighteenth century, but two-and-a-half centuries later we ask, "How do we know what we know?"
