Radio Kobanî

Description

This inspiring documentary follows a young reporter as she bravely operates a radio station in the war-torn city of Kobani, Syria. In 2014, the Islamic State (ISIS) besieged Kobani, reducing much of the city to rubble. Dilovan, a young Kurdish woman, takes it upon herself to broadcast from the local radio station and tell the stories of the survivors and refugees as they return to Kobani and begin rebuilding.
